Opportunities

Buckmore Park Scout Campsite is entirely run by volunteers.

A Board of Trustees has been appointed with the aim of securing a long term sustainable future for the campsite. A User Group with members from Strood and Medway Scout Districts (the owners of the site) has been formed to provide direction to the development of the campsite. However, Buckmore Park needs to build a service crew to develop and maintain the campsite.

Now the campsite has reopened for Scouting and Guiding, there are many opportunities for you to help run and develop Buckmore Park Scout Campsite.

Service Crew Members: To help with development and maintenance of the site.

Activity Staff: The campsite is now open for basic camping and are developing some on-site activities. We are keen to find individuals / groups who would like to help develop / run the on-site activities.

When emailing we would be interested in hearing if you have helped at Buckmore Park in the past and your current role in Scouting.
