Campsite B1

Campsite B1 has undergone a major transformation in the first half of 2016 with coppicing to the South of the site allowing sunlight in most of the day and there is a lovely coverage of grass all over the site.

Campsite B1 has minimum dimensions of 20m by 30m as shown on one of the pictures. Conveniently situated close to the upper car park, toilets, showers, water and one site buildings,…

Campsite B2

Campsite B2 is a hugely popular site, being situated within 50m of toilets, showers and water supply.

This gently sloping site is surrounded by mature trees and work during 2018 has improved the campsite surface.

Campsite B3

Campsite B3 is one of our smaller sites and has a steeper slope than most. The tree canopy needs lifting and there is little vegetation on the ground. That said – for a small group (around 10) it can provide a nice out of the way location. This campsite will receive some attention over the next year or so.

Campsite B4

Campsite B4 is one of our larger Campsites, capable of accommodating up to 70 campers. The campsite is long and thin, gently sloping across the site but becoming steeper at the far end (Northern end) of the campsite. Situated about 100m from from toilets, showers and water.

Parts of the campsite can become muddy in the Winter / Spring but there is always sufficient camping area for groups…

Campsite C1

Campsite C1 is conveniently located close to the toilets, showers and water supply. The campsite is currently surrounded by trees which does mean the amount of light on the ground is restricting the amount of vegetation on the campsite. The campsite is gently sloping. It is hoped to coppice some of the trees around the campsite over the next year or two to allow more light and vegetation onto t…

Campsite C2

Campsite C2 is one of our larger sites to the northern end of the campsite and located about 100m from toilets, showers and water. The track to the campsite can get muddy but the campsite itself is well drained. It is sometimes necessary to carry all kit about 50m to this campsite. The canopy has recently been lifted around this campsite allowing good vegetation growth but, as can been seen fro…

Campsite D3

Campsite D3 is a very popular site located about 50m from toilets, showers and water. A gently sloping site surrounded by trees and therefore has little vegetation on the ground but is easily capable of accommodating 30 campers. It is hoped to open the canopy of this site over the next year or so to allow better vegetation growth.
